Blonde d'Aquitaine

The first seven herds of Blonde d´Aquitaine cattle were established in the nineteen's by imported cows and heifers from France. Usage of insemination doses of French sires and embryotransfer are the main tolls for progress of next generations. Even Blonde d´Aquitaine in our country is not so popular as other French breeds like Charolais and Limousine, its importance is increasing especially in crossing systems. It is caused mainly by very good results in beef production. The main selection aims are especially improvement of beef performance and also keeping the current growth potential of the animals.
